The 6th international
death doula training on maui, hawaii september 19 - 23 2024
Gathering on Maui's north shore for 5 days, we will dig, plant and cultivate in the fields of whole spectrum, soul-full care of the dying, their families and the dead.
'Deep caregiving to the dying asks us to be deep people'
This training is for:
- Those called to this sacred community work.
- Those already working in these fields.
- Those who care for, or will care for a dying loved one.
- Anyone who may die one day.
Join us as we deepen our skills, understanding and attunement essential for providing the spiritual, emotional, psychological and logistical support vital for caregiving and accompanying the dying, their families and the dead.
We will learn how we can support dying people to face their dying time and engage in the work of completing one's life and leaving in peace. Dying well presents a tremendous opportunity for personal, family and community healing.
Supporting people to die well asks us to engage in our own soul-work.
Supporting people to die well helps deepen our willingness and capacity to meet pain, suffering and grief. This training has the possibility to transform your life and your death.
It may increase your willingness and capacity to meet what is dying in the world.
This training serves the needs of community members of all ages and from all cultural, economic, religious and spiritual perspectives.
“A death doula, first and foremost, is a ‘placeholder’ in the community,
representing the presence of death in community life and becomes a valued community resource for individuals, families and professionals in these fields. A death doula is a placeholder for safe space."
– Reverend Bodhi Be

Our values
We are here to help you, at whatever stage of the journey you may find yourself in. We are here to listen and support you in some of life's most precious and difficult moments.
We are bringing forth options for after-death care that are natural. holistic and environmentally sustainable.
We seek to re-invent and revolutionize the funeral home and the funeral industry, transforming the “business of dying” and returning it to “sacred service”.
We also work with community organizations, such as local hospices, hospitals, non-profits and religious organizations in growing and deepening care for the aging and the dying.
